Mission Risk Review Mission Risk is a strategy game for up to 6 players (human or computer). Mission Risk is based on Risk, the classic military strategy game of world domination (as briefly described above). To win, you must launch decisive attacks with aggression, cunning and boldness while defending your borders on all fronts. Just when you think world domination (or your secret mission) is within your grasp, your opponent might launch a surprise attack on one of your strategic strongholds and bring you to your knees. Mission Risk can now be played across the Internet, allowing you to wage wars against opponents on the other side of the world! Mission Risk is a computer playable version of the classic military strategy game of Risk. But Mission Risk is not a game for everybody. There are no brilliant sound effects to make you jump out of your skin, no dazzling "shoot em up" graphics to blow your mind. What Mission Risk was designed for is ease and speed of playing the game of risk, with cunning (some times devious) artificial intelligence to give you a real challenge. If you like the game of risk, I'm sure that you will like Mission Risk.
The object of the game of risk is to either capture every territory on the board and wipe out all of your opponents, or to complete your secret mission before any one else does. Careful planning and a cunning strategy play a huge part in the outcome of a war. Those who haven't got what it takes will be wiped out before they knew what hit 'em. Battles are determined by the roll of dice, but luck only plays a small part on the road to victory. You must attack your opponents' armies without leaving yourself defenseless and open to attack by another opponent. If your defenses do get penetrated, you must have a back up plan to recover from your losses. As in a real war, the game of risk is a game where the strong get stronger and the weak get obliterated, but the cunning will nearly always win.
